I approached Nirmiti IVF clinics to help us become parents, despite the fact that I had very low sperm count! My wife and I had been thru IUI, IVF, ICSI- and nothing worked. Then the Doctors at Nirmiti suggested  donor sperm- as an alternative. After a counseling session where the doctors explained every detail, I relented. Today we are extremely happy as our family is complete with a handsome son – Rakesh Mehta Jr.

We are a couple who got married late in life and my wife was at the perimenopause stage. Normal conception was ruled out. Even IVF was not successful as they could not get eggs from my wife. Then the doctor advised us about donor eggs. Luckily we were able to get a donor known to the family. Today we are blessed with a wonderful baby boy!

Mrs RK, 28 year old married for 6 years was diagnosed to have Unicornuate Uterus, wherein the uterus can besmall and such patients rather have difficulty in getting pregnant or have high incidence of abortions andpreterm deliveries. We had done her diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy in the year 2005, wherein she was found tohave blockage of the only tube she had. She was advised In-Vitro fertilisation. Unfortunately since the patientwas from outstation, she preferred to have her IVF done at her native place in Pune. The first cycle tried by herfailed and the patient underwent a second attempt in another centre in Mumbai, which again failed.

She approached our centre again in the month of February 2009. After a thorough evaluation, she wassuggested to have medications for preparing her Uterus better and she was again taken up for a fresh IVFcycle. But utmost care was taken in the selection and dose of Inj gonadotrophins which is used for stimulating the follicular development. She developed good follicles and developed 4 grade A Embryos which was transferred to her uterus. She was tested positive for pregnancy after 15 days and sonography showed twin pregnancy.

Since her was also anatomically abnormal, she was advised Shirodkars Os tightening to give additional support to her uterus to sustain the twin babies. She was advised good rest and to everyone’s happiness the pregnancy continued to 9 months and she delivere a boy and a girl in January this year.

Mrs Vidya & Mahadevan aged 38 & 42 were married for 14 long years before they approached our centr eforinfertility treatment after visiting many other centres. After analysing her previus reports, she was suggestedfew blood tests, mainly for ovarian reserve. Her S FSH, which gives an idea about the ovarian reserve wasalmost 14, indicating poor fertility chance. Dr S Krishnakumar, counselled them to go for Test tube baby withdonor eggs and husbands sperm for which the couple agreed. In the very first cycle Mrs Vidya becamepregnant, but she had an abortion in the 7th week of pregnancy. But fortunately for the couple the donor hadgiven more Oocytes. Hence extra embryos were frozen by vitrification a new technique. After a gap of three months Mrs Vidya was given hormonal medications for preparing the uterus and the frozen embryos were transferred to her uterus. Pregnancy tests done after 15 days confirmed she was pregnant and at present she is

in her fifth month of pregnancy without ANY COMPLICATIONS.

Mrs Anagha Mane aged 32 Ws Married for 5 years and all her previous reports were normal, proving that shehad unexplained infertility. They had also undergone several cycles of IUI in many other centres before theyconsulted D S Krishnakumar at Nirmiti. After extensive counselling the couple agreed to for a test tube baby cycle, which was done by ICSI. 3 good quality embryos were transferred , but unfortunately the attempt

resulted in a failure. Since it is a policy of Nirmiti her extra embryos were frozen and preserved for future use at a nominal cost. After 4 months the couple approached our centre for the transfer of the frozen embryos,which was done after preparing Mrs Anagha’s uterus by simple prescription of oral tablets. To the couples joy Anagha became pregnant and is now in her 7th month of pregnancy.

Anjana Dubey had delivered a child by caesarean section 4 years back but she had to undergo emergency removal of her uterus as she had profuse bleeding during the delivery. To add to their misery the boy born to her was also mentally retarded. The couple was mentally too disturbed as she had no chance of getting pregnant as her uterus was removed. A family friend suggested her to visit Nirmirti Fertility & IVF centre which has fully running Surrogacy program. The couple were relieved of their tension when Mrs Anjana was told she can have a baby by IVF and transferring the same to a surrogate uterus. The centre helped them to get an appropriate surrogate and in the very first cycle the surrogate mother is now carrying twins and Anjana & her husband are eagerly waiting to have their children and much relaxed couple now.

Mrs Rajashree and Arun Dabholkar, aged 40 and 42 yrs respectively were married for 12 long years when they approached Dr Krishnakumar at Nirmiti and already had a failed IVF cycle in another centre at Thane.

Mrs Rajashree had history of tuberculosis in the uterus and her FSH was already12. The couple was suggested to go for Donor egg IVF cycle and use a surrogate mother for carrying the pregnancy. Since the couple was reluctant to go for donor eggs, Mrs Rajashree’s eggs were only used and was transferred to a surrogate mother and she became pregnant in the first attempt itself but their bad luck the surrogate had an abortion in thesecond month due to chromosomal anomaly. With this bitter experience the couple agreed to go for donor egg IVF and getting it transferred to a new surrogate mother. The attempt resulted in twin pregnancy and to the joy of the DABHOLKARS THEIR TWIN WAS BORN ON 16TH FEBRUARY OF THIS YEAR.
